Agreement

By using LocalTapri ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

LocalTapri is operated by Awanish Kumar Tiwari ("we", "us", "our"), located at Poore Nain Tiwari, Palia Lohani, Post — Harringtongunj, District — Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use LocalTapri.
• You must provide a valid phone number for verification.
• You must be located in India to access community features.
• One account per phone number. Multiple accounts are not permitted.

Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• Your phone number is used for authentication only and is never shared with other users.
• You choose a display name and character avatar. No real photos are used.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

Community Guidelines

LocalTapri is a community platform. By using it, you agree to:

You Must Not:

• Post hate speech, threats, or content promoting violence
• Harass, bully, or target other users
• Share sexually explicit content or nudity
• Create false emergency alerts (Siren misuse)
• Impersonate other people or organizations
• Spam, advertise without Munadi, or send unsolicited messages
• Attempt to bypass moderation filters or exploit the platform
• Share personal information of others without consent
• Use the platform for illegal activities

Moderation & Enforcement

LocalTapri uses automated moderation (content filters, ghost messaging) and community governance (Panchayat exile voting) to maintain safety. Violations may result in:

• Warning
• Temporary mute (2 hours to 7 days)
• Ghost messaging (your messages become invisible to others)
• Community exile (via democratic Panchayat vote)
• Permanent ban for severe violations

Ephemeral Content

• Community chat messages are ephemeral and not permanently stored.
• Private messages expire after 24 hours.
• Events and polls have natural lifespans and expire automatically.
• We do not guarantee message delivery or retention.
• Do not rely on LocalTapri for storing important information.

Emergency Alerts (Siren)

• Siren is for genuine emergencies only (blood needs, fire, accidents, missing persons).
• False emergency alerts will result in immediate Siren access revocation.
• LocalTapri is not a substitute for emergency services (police, fire, ambulance). Always call official emergency numbers first.
• We are not liable for the accuracy, timeliness, or outcome of emergency alerts.

Intellectual Property

• The LocalTapri app, design, and brand are our intellectual property.
• Content you post remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it within the app to your community.
• You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the app or its components.

Limitation of Liability

LocalTapri is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Content posted by users
• Actions taken based on community information
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Outcomes of emergency alerts
• Decisions made through community voting (Panchayat/Matdaan)

Termination

• You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the app.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India.
